ProjectBase:Public
ProjectBase: Public engages the general public and embraces all social, economic and generational backgrounds from Cornwall’s local and visiting communities.
ProjectBase: Public breaks down into three further areas:
- TalkBase
- GeneratorBase
- BaseCamp
TalkBase
TalkBase is a series of public discussions and lectures led by visiting artists who are planning to or may potentially realise projects as part of ProjectBase’s ongoing exhibitions programme. The TalkBase series takes place in public spaces such as lecture theatres and seminar rooms, gallery spaces and open air spaces. TalkBase has previously included lectures, seminars and events led by artists Hassan Hajjaj, Surasi Kusolwong, Regina Moller and Christine Borland.
GeneratorBase
GeneratorBase provides a space and time for all generational groups to generate ideas, thoughts and critical enquiries into and about the visual arts. It takes shape through a variety of public events, activities and workshops designed to involve members of the public in arts participation.
